Some history
This time I thought to tell something about how I got interested in the vintage, and history in general. History was one of my favorite subjects in school as a child. I loved to know how people lived before and thought about all those fascinating stories. It has been always a pleasure to me watch and study old photos from the past. Sometimes I tried to imagine people continuing their lives after the photos were taken.
Anyway, one of the main reasons I involved so deeply in the past was the history of my family and ancestors. From my early childhood I have heard a lot of stories been told. I heard them from my parents and grandparents and other relatives. My family was forced to leave their homes due to the WW II and it was something that was in the first place very traumatic but caused also a lot of remembering. And as a child I soaked in those stories from my dear ones. That way their history became very intense part of myself.
Because they had to leave their homes behind they couldn't take much things with them. That's why those few items they could take with them were very precious and important to all and to me also, of course.
